The album is quite great. A few of the tracks took my mind back to a beautiful memory of sitting in a tea house in Prague with a very special friend. We would lay in the tea house listening to music, drinking tea, and eating snacks for hours on end. I have never been is such a peaceful place before or since.
Take a listen to the album and if you are ever in Žižkov in Prague make sure to stop at Cajovna Genesis: http://www.cajovnagenesis.cz/
If you are a fan of free legal music like I am, then you need to check this site out:
You won’t find Britney Spears or Jay-Z on this site, but you will find a large amount of great music all of which is release under the Creative Commons license.
Check out these tunes from Uno of R4T5.com. The electronic melodies mixed with cryptic lyrics and vocals give Uno a downright creepy sound. Note that the tracks are strangely quiet, make sure to turn your speakers way up for listening and back down once done.
This music will take you from floating on a cloud to moving and groovin’. Their sounds reminds me of one of my favorite groups, Boards of Canada. What I recommend is to get the 10 free track they have on their site, burn them to a CD, jump in the car and cruise along PCH with out a care in the world.
I’m not talking about “water sports”, I’m talking about a band. The mix of electronic music, strange sounds and random vocals gives Golden Shower a sound that reminds me a lot of good ol’ Kraftwerk.
The band is composed of Markus Karlus, Kevin Rodgers and what they claim to be a computer virus from the 80s.
“Interesting” you say. “Yes” I say. I highly recommend check their music out, especially because it’s free (19 tracks!).
